As a JAG, he drafted estate plans for military members as they prepared for deployment to areas of conflict. He also represented the United States in regulatory matters and litigated over 20 cases. Following his service as a JAG, Juan worked at a large law firm in Phoenix representing both large and small businesses in legal disputes. His unique legal experience has provided him with a deep understanding of legal processes, which he in turn uses to advise his clients.
Juan graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University, after which he attended law school at Northwestern University School of Law. While in law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ruben Castillo, United States District Court (Illinois), and interned at a large law firm in Phoenix for two summers.
Juan and his wife have four children. He enjoys staying in shape through weightlifting, hiking, wake-boarding, and snowboarding. He enjoys everything sports-related.
